Continue to bring live music back to the West Side and encourage permanent venues for the Arts
The West Side has a rich history of innovations in music, with jazz and blues clubs lining Springwood Ave in the mid-20th century. Today, live music comes to Springwood Park every week in the summer months. Expanding live music and performing arts opportunities in the neighborhood will help answer residents’ expressed desire for more entertainment options and connect people with the West Side’s legacy.
