Create an environment of coordination and collaboration rather than competition within existing network of job training program providers
Economic development activities are often thought of in a “zero-sum” manner, with different agencies competing for enrollees and funding. Reframing the economic future of the West Side as a strong partnership among agencies with a common goal will enable stakeholders to focus on what is most important– the advancement of job seekers in the neighborhood.
